Treatment Philosophy
Lisa H. Jain, DPT, OCS of Kinetic Physical Therapy, LLC provides an extraordinary service to individuals living in the St. Louis area. Her approach to physical therapy is unique in that she strives to diagnosis the cause of your symptoms. She carefully evaluates your musculoskeletal system and considers your daily movement patterns to make a movement based diagnosis. Lisa will then develop a treatment model to help you to achieve your goals. Your treatment will consist of extensive education regarding your condition, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and/or manual therapy. Lisa’s goal is to provide you with the tools to independently manage your symptoms.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Lisa H. Jain, PT, DPT, OCS
Lisa received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 2005. In addition, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2010, she earned her Orthopaedic Board Specialization (OCS), which is a coveted honor in the field of orthopaedic physical therapy.
Lisa recently relocated from Washington, D.C. to St. Louis. She founded Kinetic Physical Therapy in St. Louis because she witnessed the benefit of one-on-one care while working in Washington, D.C. Her clientele there valued attaining maximal benefit from the personalized attention she was able to give. Thus, Lisa’s goal is to simulate this treatment model in order to provide the highest quality services.
She has in-depth experience in the clinical diagnosis and management of movement impairment syndromes in order to treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Lisa also has extensive knowledge regarding foot orthotics and footwear. She treats both adult and pediatric populations.
Lisa is currently engaged in a research study that is evaluating the efficacy of eccentric training in patients with insertional Achilles tendinosis. In addition, Lisa has developed treatment protocols for post surgical hip conditions. As a result, patients travel across the U.S. to seek her expertise with their hip rehabilitation.
She continues her post-graduate education by attending courses throughout the United States. Lisa is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
